VidTrans 2017 Tutorial
Title: AES67 - What Every Media Professional Needs to Know

Description: AES67 is emerging as the preeminent IP audio format for interoperable all-IP media networks in the future, forming the basis for TR-03, AIMS and likely for SMPTE standards currently in development. Already, many major audio equipment suppliers have announced or released products that natively support AES67, and most others support the standard for signal interchange.

This course will cover the key aspects of AES67 technology, including media formats, differentiated services, PTP profiles and distribution, and other major elements of the AES67 protocol stack. Particular emphasis will be given to showing how video and audio signals can coexist on a common network. A live AES67 network demonstration may also be provided during the class.

Time: Monday, February 27, 2017 3:00-5:00 pm PST at the Marina del Rey Marriott in the Catalina Room on the Lower Level. Light refreshments will be provided.
