SMPTE 32NF Networking Technology Committee
The VSF is providing resources to move projects through the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). Our work is being conducted under the 32NF-60 Video over IP Working Group, chaired by Brad Gilmer.
Currently, the VSF project on providing hitless protection for SMPTE 2022-x streams is being standardized in a subcommittee of 32NF-60, chaired by Michael Bany.
Work on mapping uncompressed video streams and an associated FEC mechanism which originated in the VSF HBRMT Committee was recently completed in SMPTE 32NF Committee.
